Carol Ireland, LCSW-C
Clinical Care Partner
Carol is a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) with more than 20 years of experience helping people find their footing when life feels heavy, uncertain, or simply not the way they expected it to be.
A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work, Carol works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief and loss, major life transitions, and the very real complexities that can come with aging. She brings a steady, compassionate presence to the therapy room and creates space for clients to make sense of where they’ve been, what they’re carrying, and what they want the next chapter to look like.
Carol’s approach fits naturally into the Hive’s whole-person philosophy. She draws from cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches while incorporating mindfulness, guided imagery, music, and mind-body-spirit practices that support relaxation, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.
But Carol isn’t interested in simply helping you “cope better.” Her work is about helping you understand yourself more fully, move through the places where you’ve become stuck, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost beneath stress, grief, caregiving, relationships, or years of taking care of everyone else.
With Carol, therapy is a place to exhale, untangle, and begin seeing what’s possible beyond the place where you feel stuck.
