Walt brings a calm, steady presence to his work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. His clinical background includes extensive experience in both community mental health and school-based settings, where he has supported individuals through life’s toughest challenges with compassion, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.
Walt’s therapeutic style is warm, affirming, and deeply person-centered. He believes that every individual already holds the strength they need to grow—and that healing happens when people are met with care, consistency, and connection. His clinical approach integrates strengths-based counseling with culturally responsive practices, with a special focus on trauma, relationships, and the intersection of mental health and identity.
As a bilingual clinician fluent in Haitian Creole, Walt is passionate about expanding access to inclusive, affirming care across diverse communities. Whether in individual or group settings, his goal is to create safe, welcoming spaces where clients feel seen, empowered, and supported as they move toward healing.
