Kylene Shupe, LMSW

Kylene is a deeply attuned and compassionate clinician with more than a decade of experience walking alongside individuals on their healing journeys. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Salisbury University and is independently licensed in Maryland, Delaware, and Maine. Her work bridges the clinical and the holistic, weaving together evidence-based practices and embodied approaches that honor the mind-body connection.

Kylene specializes in supporting adolescents and adults navigating the impacts of trauma, stress, disordered eating, depression, and relationship challenges. Her therapeutic lens is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and deeply relational. She integrates a range of modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and somatic-based interventions, tailoring her approach to meet each client with care and intention.

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and Certified Neuropsychotherapist, Kylene brings both depth and nuance to her clinical work. Yet her healing toolkit extends far beyond the traditional. A certified sound therapist, expressive arts practitioner, and guided meditation facilitator, Kylene also holds a 200-hour trauma-informed yoga teacher certification. Her work is rooted in nervous system regulation, sensory attunement, and the quiet power of presence.

Outside the therapy room, Kylene tends to her own hive—literally. As a beekeeper, she brings the same grounded, nurturing energy to her buzzing backyard as she does to the humans she serves. She believes in creating spaces that are safe, sacred, and alive with the possibility of transformation.
